The Conscious Life
Every day raised new questions. How do you eat properly? What is the best way to train? What is the meaning of life? Thinking about the meaning of life seemed extremely meaningful to me.
A first understanding was that there was nothing more meaningful than thinking about the meaning of life. Cognitions that emerged from this had to be put into practice, otherwise they would have been pointless. New cognitions arose from these acts, and so on. This perpetual motion principle of searching for consciousness kept me going. Most people fail in their search for consciousness because they do not translate what they know into action. You have to live the acquired consciousness. That means work. Further work on consciousness.
If I then sought this highest consciousness, which I had to laboriously work out, I reached higher and higher levels, of which the normal person has no idea. It's normal life and thinking about it. Many could but do not.
To go from cognition to cognition in this conscious life and to rise above the old consciousness, enlightens the world in ways never seen before. The true seeker lives a life that normal people never ever become aware of. A higher world can be recognized and lived in this normal world.
Whoever gets caught up in this search for consciousness is no longer of this world. An endless search. An endless thinking. Day after day. Those who go through this know where they stand and what is waiting for them.
If you want to go from a peak of consciousness to a higher peak, you have to go through a deep valley. It can be very grueling. But in the end everything is fine - if you have made it.
The true seeker writes his biography purely inwardly, not outwardly. Achievements in the inner world are invaluable to him. There is no point in wasting your life on material things. Only the eternal is to be striven for. Whoever recognizes beauty and meaning in things is on the right path. Learning from mistakes, improving your thinking, taking the right perspective, understanding the big picture, uncovering your inner self - these are essential things on the way to the highest consciousness.
Outward display of spirituality is worthless. Inwardly, the aspirant is completely focused on his inner self. Free from material influences, the true seeker lets himself be guided by the inner self - unconditionally.
The mind must become perfect, otherwise it clouds the inner self. Only liberation from an imperfect mind can lead to the development of the inner self.
The modern world has made it possible for me to go this way. I wouldn't have forgiven myself if I hadn't gone the full way. Each of you has contributed to this world. And for that I would like to thank everyone.
One day you will get to this point where you ask yourself, ‘What would Jens have done?‘ Be a bit radical, somewhat reckless, but with much love and very much patience.
That was what I still wanted to say to you.
Good luck!
